Resource allocation involves assigning available resources for different project activities in consideration with the total duration of the project. A project cannot be completed in the absence of adequate resources. The allocation of resource starts with exploring whether there are adequate resources available to complete the project on time or not. If the resources are insufficient, some of the activities may need to be started after their Latest Start (LS) time (discussed in the previous unit). In such a case, if project activities start after the LS time, the overall project would get delayed.
