Scope creep refers to the
unauthorised change in the scope of a project. Some of the reasons for scope
creep are poor work breakdown structure and lack of change control. Mainly scope creep are of two types, that is, business
scope creep and features or technology scope creep. These are explained below:
Business scope creep: This occurs when decisions related to the project scope are made to meet
the requirements of the business.
Features or technology scope
creep: This occurs when the
